Laurent Gorgiard, a talented artist, made Rennes (in Brittany) the hub
of animation cinema in the 1990s. He directed a dozen shorts, music
videos, commercials and TV series between 1992 and 2003, the year he
died at the age of 38, to the dismay of those who liked his work. His
most famous film, "L'homme aux bras ballants" won the Jury special
Prize at the Annecy Short Film Festival as well as a Golden FIPA.
