Gregory Lamberson is a producer, screenwriter and director who specializes in the action, horror and comedy genres. A member of both the Producers Guild of America and International Thriller Writers, Lamberson has directed 10 features of his own in addition to freelancing on many others, and is the author of 15 books, including 12 critically acclaimed novels and the instructional textbook "Cheap Scares: Low Budget Horror Filmmakers Share Their Secrets." He received NCCC Film and Animation Festival's Filmmaker of the Year award in 2017, Shawna Shea Film Festival's William C. Gerrity Award in 2019, and AMT International Film Festival's Best Producer award in 2025. Lamberson is the founding director of the long running film festival Amazing Fantasy Fest in Buffalo, New York, and recently launched Empire State Film Festival in Ithaca. He is the Executive Director of Cinema Arts Collaborative, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization devoted to growing the film community in Western New York, and taught screenwriting for two years at University at Buffalo. Fangoria magazine called him "the busiest man in horror."
