Dan Rathke is an actor, writer, and producer based out of Austin, Texas.

As a young boy growing up in Tecumseh, Michigan, the bright lights, energy, and action of acting and filmmaking made his small town seem huge. The first time he felt the heat of stage lights as "Buster" in a 4th grade school play, Christmas at the OK Corral, he knew this was something he wanted to do well into the future.

Now, with the same childlike wonder, Dan is acting, producing, writing scripts, and recently co-founded a film company, Broken Spoke Film House.

His first role was in the short film, Stairclimbing: The Documentary, which he also wrote and produced. Recently, he starred, wrote, and produced acclaimed Horror-Comedy shorts, The Party (2022) and Who Invited The Robots? (2023).

Dan has a degree in Broadcasting & Cinematic Arts from Central Michigan University. He resides in Austin, Texas where he works with Broken Spoke Film House and spoils his dog, Stella.
