Yehuda Bauer was born on April 6, 1926 in Prague, Czechoslovakia [now Prague, Czech Republic]. He is known for Partisans of Vilna (1986), Spell Your Name (2006) and Voices from the List (2004). He was married to Ilana Meroz and Shula. He died on October 18, 2024 in Jerusalem, Israel.
