Deoudoné Pretorius is a passionate South African actress steadily building her career across both local and international markets. She studied Drama and completed three years of Musical Theatre & Dance training, which gave her exposure to multiple dance styles and physical performance techniques.
Her professional journey began in 2020 when she was cast as Stella for kykNET's 21st birthday campaign - a role that became the face of several kykNET commercial campaigns over the following two years, including "Stella Kom Kuier", "Stella Stemme", "'n Ster vir Kersfees", as well as voice-over work.
Deoudoné has since built a growing portfolio in Afrikaans television, appearing in kykNET productions such as "Getroud Met Rugby", "Binnelanders", "Diepe Waters", and launching the kykNET game-show "Koppestamp." Her film work includes the Showmax productions "Horisonne" and "Troukoors", the lead in a Forum Films movie "Die Val", as well as the series "De Kleine Griet".
She has also branched into English-language and international projects, including work for Disney South Africa, two Tubi films ("Invasive 2: Getaway & "Take-Out"), and the Norwegian feature film "Den Fremmede" directed b"y Eiric Svensson. She also has upcoming releases on Netflix, including a film directed by Mairzee Almas (Shadow and Bone, The Sandman, Outlander) and a series.
Driven by curiosity and passion, Deoudoné is committed to continuously growing her craft. She regularly up-skills through stunt training, dance, and outdoor performance work, preparing her for physically demanding and dynamic roles while exploring diverse characters and storytelling styles.
