Robert Richard Cabeca was born at Philadelphia Naval Hospital. His mother, Claire Cabeca (1930), of Palestinian Catholic decent was a former beauty queen in Palestine prior to the war. His father, William Viera Cabeca (1926) of Portuguese decent born in New Bedford, MA. He was a career Navy man. Robert has two siblings, Anna and John, both younger.
Robert loved to sing and dance and perform as a young boy, but was bullied a lot for it so he abandoned it until his late 20's when he became a professional Magician, Clown, Mime and Marionette Puppeteer, starting his own entertainment agency "Magicians, Puppets and Clowns, Oh My!" in the Washington, D.C. Metro area. Additionally he was a performer for several years at amusement parks in the area. Robert crafted his own props and many Marionettes in addition to large portable stages, lighting and sound.
Robert left entertainment to pursue an illustrious career in Cybersecurity and then decided to follow his passion for chocolate and opened a Chocolate shop in D.C. and also a Chocolate Themed restaurant. After closing these in 2015, he wrote his first two cookbooks, all about chocolate of course, then three other books.
In 2018, he moved to Portland, ME and shortly after became involved with Portland Media Center filming his first full documentary, and then created a TV Talk Show called Enlightened Pathways which received rave reviews in the community. Now on the BoD of PMC, he is crafting other TV shows and short films and involved with local Film associations.
