Kimberly Lovie Murdaugh is a scientist, doctor, and filmmaker. Through films that shed light on rites and rituals in medicine, she explores how doctors cope with grief, adversity, and transformation. She developed a technique to overlay Rolleiflex photographs and x-rays, creating portraits that expose the boundary between life and death. She made her photography debut in Seoul in 2021, and short film debut in LA in 2022.
