Frank LaForge studied music with Harrison Wild and others, and earned an honorary degree from the Detroit Foundation Music School. He founded the La Forge-Berumen Studios in New York, accompanied Lily Pons and others, recorded on piano for Victor, and composed several popular and sacred songs including "Retreat", "To a Messenger", "Before the Crucifix", "Hills", and "Pathways of Song".
