Laza (she/they) is a mixed Jewish filmmaker, full time student, and part time nonprofit programs associate. Their screenplays and films focus on queer characters and often contain horror elements. Laza was an Anthropology and Gender, Women, & Sexuality Studies major at UW before switching to film. They are now in the MFA program for Filmmaking at Seattle Film Institute.
