Ashraful Tushar is a Bangladeshi travel and documentary filmmaker, cinematographer, and creative entrepreneur, currently based between Budapest and Dhaka. Born in Barisal and raised in Narayanganj, Tushar is known for his visually captivating storytelling that connects people, places, and emotions through cinematic travel visuals. He is the founder of Pathshala, an educational media platform offering Bengali-language learning and informational content for Bangladeshi audiences, and the founder of Project Dakghor, a volunteer-based initiative and digital media portal that supports underprivileged communities during natural disasters while creating awareness-driven content in both Bangla and English. Tushar began his education at Glory International Primary School in Narayanganj. He completed his Secondary School Certificate (SSC) from Adarsha School and his Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) from Milestone College and Dania College, Dhaka. He is currently pursuing a BA in Communication and Media Studies at Budapest Metropolitan University, Hungary. Tushar started his filmmaking journey in 2019, guided by his passion for storytelling and cultural exploration. Since then, he has worked with several Hungarian and international clients as a freelance videographer and content creator, producing travel, lifestyle, and documentary-style visuals. By 2025, he has traveled to over 25 countries, capturing authentic moments from diverse cultures across Europe and Asia. His recent projects include reimagining official tourism board videos into his own cinematic format, highlighting local heritage and visual identity through creative filmmaking. Through Pathshala, Tushar empowers Bangladeshi students with practical education about global opportunities. Meanwhile, Project Dakghor reflects his commitment to social impact-combining volunteerism, digital storytelling, and youth engagement under one creative platform. A true digital nomad, Tushar describes himself as "a traveler with a camera and a purpose." His mission is to bridge cultures through storytelling, using visual media to celebrate identity, resilience, and human connection beyond borders.
