Martin Rutegard was born in Stockholm, Sweden in 1979 and got his
interest in movies at an early age.
Studied film theory for a year at the university of Örebro in Sweden. In his
final exam he had the leading part in a short movie called Konstnären where
he won a prize for best leading actor. He has had leading roles in
short films and commercials, supporting roles in TV-series and features.
