Marquita R. Shaw was born in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.
Marquita, is known for her speaking role as Amanda in the short film production "The Podiatrist" in 2023 and Officer Robinson in Ultimate Spider-Man: Origins. She will be writing, producing, and starring as Flau’Jae, the green beetle ranger in the live action series, Power Rangers Beetle, Morphers. She has also had a speaking role in a feature film produced by Teddy Orfanos called Broken Pieces and a post production entitled "Walker of the Universe" as Olivia Walker. She, so far has been extra House of Cards in 2015 where her career started, and a Power episode directed by Mario Van Peebles (SAG) as an intern. She was also in the music video, "Funky 5" by Conceptz, which made its debut on MTVU in 2015. She has worked on a set for Creed 2 as background/extra in 2018 with Michael B Jordan and Tessa Thompson. In 2018, she also was an extra in the TV show FBI (uncredited, pilot, episode), Elementary (background, college student), Blue Bloods (paid uncredited), and Law & Order: SVU (uncredited).
