Yanet graduated from the Instituto Superior de Arte (ISA) in Cuba. She
started out in theater until she was discovered by Armando Arencibia
who cast her in a teleplay. She then played a ballerina in a soap opera
for Cuban TV. In 1999 she played the troubled leads in both: Bailar
Sobre Agujas (1999) and Buena onda (1999) directed by Miguel Coyula
while he was in film school. She currently lives and works in Mexico as
a TV director.
