Axel Gruenberg was born on August 17, 1902 in Riga, Russian Empire [now Latvia]. He was a director and producer, known for Stars Over Hollywood (1950), Who in the World (1962) and Hollywood Opening Night (1951). He was married to Esther Anne Down. He died on December 19, 1981 in Los Angeles, California, USA.
