Oscar Rai Darby is an aspiring actor having been in plays, musicals and a Christmas panto with The Earls Courtiers, Sussex House school and St Michael's Theatre in London. He has a Grade 7 LAMDA in acting. He played "River" in River's Odyssey - a plural installation and short film. The project, with 5 Official Selections, has been showcased at IRCAM, Outernet and Dubai Design Week amongst other venues. Oscar recently had his first acting for the screen experience shooting for a Proof of Concept for the upcoming The Boy who Belonged to the Sea, where he effortlessly portrayed Jonah, the eponymous boy who belongs to the Sea. Born in Paris, France, Oscar is of mixed heritage. He fences internationally, plays professional table tennis, tennis, cricket and plays the piano. He loves to draw and has exhibited at The Royal Academy of Arts, aged 10, as part of the Young Artists Summer Show in 2020. He is an ocean advocate and raises funds for the health of corals. A member of Fauna & Flora International, he hopes to join the cause of a healthier planet for all.
