Jessica Pimentel is and actress and producer known for emotionally grounded, transformative performances across film, television, and theatre. She is recognized for playing complex, psychologically driven characters with intensity, precision, and range. Her work spans contemporary drama, heightened realism, and stylized storytelling, with a particular strength in roles that explore identity, power, and vulnerability. Jessica’s performances are marked by a strong physical presence and a fearless commitment and specificity to every role to character for which she has received multiple awards and nominations. She continues to develop new work across mediums, focusing on projects that foreground bold narratives, challenge convention and center bold, human storytelling.
Training -She is a graduate of the High School for the Performing Arts (a.k.a. "Fame") in New York City and the prestigious American Academy of Dramatic Arts, also in New York City.
Music Career- Jessica began playing music at a very young age and has traveled around the United States, Canada, Mexico, Europe and Japan as both an accomplished classical violinist and Hardcore/ Heavy Metal musician.
Other Interests- Jessica is a practitioner of Tibetan Buddhism and studied closely under the former abbot of Sera Mey Monastery, H.E. Sermey Khensur Rinpoche Lobsang Tharchin. She applies the techniques she learned to her art.
She considers both New York City and Stockholm, Sweden home.
