Peyton Carson
  • Date of birth: 2004
  • Profession: Actor, Director, Writer
Peyton Louis Carson was born in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, to Cynthia and Rod Carson. While he grew up primarily as an athlete, from the time he was a child, Peyton maintained a love for being on camera and expressing himself artistically. He ultimately discovered his calling for acting after his first semester in college, and has since rapidly developed his expertise and approach to the craft through working on numerous sets and studying a multitude of techniques. He is now maturing his craft at Playhouse West-Philadelphia under Tony Savant. For a time, Peyton also attended Temple University.

Before elevating his artistry with Playhouse West, he made his film debut in 2023, as a heartbroken-turned-toxic teen in the drama, Sycle (2024). Subsequently, he had strong roles in various indie short films, notably playing a toxic boyfriend in the horror, Self Clean (2024), which placed in the Jakob Owens Horror Short Film Contest and screened at NFFTY 2025 in Seattle; a nerd hacker in the comedy, A Quart of Salt (2025), which has since had many awards/screenings, including screening at Kevin Smith's film festival; and, perhaps most significant, a broken young man in the drama, Always (2025), a deeply personal film of his own that has since brought home numerous awards and nominations, including three Best Actor wins for himself. Additionally, Peyton made his stage debut in 2025, in the Pulitzer Prize-winning play, Rabbit Hole.

Looking ahead, Peyton has several projects nearing release, including his feature film debut in Michael Wellenreiter's upcoming sci-fi thriller, Sisters of the Shattered Moon (2026), where he plays Davian, a dodgy love interest, as well as his very own comedy, Corona (2025), which is accomplished via a 5-minute long take where he portrays a perfectionist rapper. Moving into 2026, Peyton will be acting as Brian in his directorial feature film debut, The Infinite Blunt (2026), which he is also writing.
