Chad Canfield is an actor, father and artist. He got his start acting
and being involved in several school drama productions at Cedar Rapids
Washington High School. His first part was playing "Aid Turkle" in the
school's production of "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest". In 1990 he
was the "Pizza Delivery boy" in Brad Hawkins movie "Bloody Death
Awaits". He graduated from Washington High School in 1991. His son
Zachary was born the same year.
He was a member of the US Army Reserves, and the honor graduate in his
31 kilo combat signaler school. In 1993 he married Kristina Hauskins,
his high school sweetheart. In 1995 he began to host a haunted house in
his home. In 2000 he opened a haunted attraction called "Canfield's
Frightmare Forest" where he builds his acting and creative juices.
2002 was a great year for Chad, he became friends with Chris Hanel and
Stephen Phelan. They were making a "Star Wars Fan Film". Chad played
the part of "Boba Fatt". His son Zach played the young "Tomas
Harrison". In 2002 his daughter Zoe was born. The following year he
became a member of an improv comedy troupe called "Comics in Action" or
C.I.A.
Chad left C.I.A and became a founding member of the improv comedy troupe "Closer Than They Appear". They continue to perform for corporate events.

He has also appeared in several television commercials and financial training videos produced by BVS Training Systems
Since 2008 he has been the Host, Producer, Editor of the podcast "The Canman Show"
He continues to live in Cedar Rapids, Iowa with his wife Kristina and their girls Zoe and Zada. Their son Zach is all grown up and out of the house.
