Abdullah Tanrikulu was born on January 1, 1979, in the village of Zengezur, located in the Dogubayazit district of Agri, as the child of a farming family.
With the inspiration he drew from Ahmed Arif and Ahmedê Xani, two of the leading writers of Turkish literature, Abdullah Tanrikulu has left a significant impact on people with the books he has written.
Tanrikulu completed his primary and secondary education in Dogubayazit and finished his high school education in Istanbul.
