Michalis Hatzigiannis is a Greek Cypriot singer, songwriter and composer, regarded as one of the most popular and commercially successful contemporary artists in Greece and Cyprus. He rose to prominence in the late 1990s and achieved major success with hit songs such as Mono sta oneira, Parti, Kryfo fili and Pio poly, establishing a long running presence in radio, live concerts and record sales. His work spans pop and contemporary Greek music, with numerous platinum albums and awards. Beyond music, he has been active in cultural and social initiatives and served as Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of Cyprus in 2023. He has also appeared in television projects and soundtracks, maintaining a broad and influential career in Greek language entertainment.
