Jonas Meukens is the lead singer/guitarist of Belgian punk-rock band
X!NK. The band, consisting of Jonas, his brother Niels Meukens and Philip Valkiers
and Thomas Valkiers, entered the music competition Eurosong for Kids (2003) and were sent to the
Junior Eurovision Song Contest Copenhagen 2003 (2003) as Belgian finalists. The song they entered with, "De
Vriendschapsband", became a hit in Belgium and was soon followed by an
album, "X!nk". The boys also performed the official song for Garfield: Der Film (2004)
for Belgium and The Netherlands, called "Laat Me Vrij". In October 2005
the band brought out a new album, "Vergif".
