Raphë is a queer Québécois artist whose visual poetry and image-based work spans performance, photography, and art-house film. Their practice builds impactful visual tableaux, often staged in derelict or post-industrial spaces, using handcrafted costumery and a distinct gestural language to explore contradiction through flamboyant buffoonery. Notable works include Dumpster Duchess (2025), which premiered at Fantasia International Film Festival, won the Royal Photo Award for Best Cinematography in a Short Film, and is distributed by Groupe Intervention Vidéo (GIV), and Tërra Bëstia (2022), distributed by CFMDC.
