Martin is a video production teacher and independent filmmaker. Writing
and directing videos since he was 13 years old, Martin enjoys working
in the mystery, suspense, and horror genres. Festival award winning
shorts like "An Innocent Death of Society" and "Change for a Dollar"
lead to career educating high school students to communicate through
the motion picture.
Martin spent 5 years working for Trancas International Films, Inc. -
the production company that owns the rights to the "Halloween" film
franchise. He co-founded "www.halloweenmovies.com," the official
franchise website.
Today he continues to teach several levels of video production and film
history/analysis. His students have produced award-winning shorts,
PSAs, and more.
Martin was heavily influenced by filmmakers John Carpenter, Alfred
Hitchcock, and George Lucas.
