Murat Dzhusoyty is a Soviet director and screenwriter, Honored Worker of Culture of the Republic of North Ossetia. He graduated from the economics (1983) and screenwriting (1990) departments of VGIK. He made his film debut in 1989 as a screenwriter for the film Fanat (1989). He worked at the Odessa Film Studio, then at the North Caucasus Film Studio. He has written feature films and documentaries.
