Lucy Schacher, also known as 'Girlmediamaker', is a Melbourne-based filmmaker completing her Honours degree at Swinburne University of Technology (as of 2024). She has worked on several short films, including Still There? (2020), Bloody Brilliant (2022), Hello Anna! (2022), and Mother Pearl (2024). In 2024, she directed her graduate film, Tall Sad Girl and Short Punk Girl Are Friends, which is set to run its festival circuit.
