Kaylon Alexis was born in Trinidad and Tobago, the home of Steelpan, Calypso, and Soca. He is the eldest of three children. His parents, Kathon Alexis and Annalie Jury-Alexis, are responsible for surrounding him with the creative environment that was needed to propel his musical abilities. At a young age, he showed interest in music, and over time, this interest grew into what it is today. Kaylon enjoys composing, adapting, and arranging music in a variety of genres. Additionally, his main instrument is the Steelpan, which is indigenous to the island where he is from. Kaylon's dream is to share his music and culture with the world, not for fame but for the emotional connections it may bring. Film composing has recently caught his ear, and he hopes to contribute to the film industry significantly in the future.
