Sharyn Helena Syme was born on April 26 in Hamilton, New Zealand to
Alexander Syme and Wendy Blackett. She is an only child.
Whilst living in Hamilton she studied drama at Waikato University, but
looking for a change of pace, she headed up to Auckland to study makeup
for film, theatre and fashion.
Sharyn also has ties to theatre and performed with Musikmakers Inc and
Riverlea Theatre and Arts Center. Singing is another one of her
passions and she has been performing since the age of 11 in various
variety shows and in local bands.
