Hiroto "Hiro" Itoyama is a half-Japanese, half-American child performer. Born in New York City and raised in Tokyo, Japan, he began studying classical piano and gymnastics at age 5 and musical theater, dance, and voice at age 8.

He made his professional stage debut as Les in the Japanese production of Les in Tokyo in 2024. He has also been promoted to membership in one of Youth Theatre Japan's elite performing troupes, where he has participated in numerous English-language theatrical productions, arts competitions, and workshops.

Also an accomplished young musician, Hiro won a Gold Award with the top score in his division in his first piano competition at the age of 8, and he has trained in both jazz and drum set to supplement his classical studies. He frequently serves as the keyboardist for school concerts and church youth productions. More than just a performer, Hiro is also a budding composer who loves to improvise on the piano and play his own arrangements of his favorite songs.

He is also an avid singer with perfect pitch. He and his younger sister, Sanae Itoyama, debuted together as singers on TV Tokyo's children's variety show, "Shina pushu," in 2021.

Hiro is a star student, reading well above grade level since the age of 2 and winning numerous class spelling bees. He has an encyclopedic knowledge of trains and astronomy, and he is a speedcubing and origami enthusiast.

Hiro is fluent in both Japanese and English.
