All Over Town (1937)
Plot: Two wisecracking vaudevillians, Olsen and Johnson, and their trained seal find themselves mixed up in a frantic comedic plot as they attempt to stage a show in a theatrical boarding house and the "jinxed" Eldridge Theater. The theater has a reputation for being cursed after a past murder, and when another mysterious killing occurs, the two comics find themselves dodging both a gang of thugs (or possibly a crazed murderer) and an inept police inspector. The plot incorporates elements of a whodunnit, a haunted house comedy, and a "save the theater" musical, all culminating in a chaotic climax where the duo attempts to unmask the killer live on the radio.
