Beau Brummel 1924
Plot: The film follows the life of George Bryan "Beau" Brummel, a legendary dandy in Regency England. After his sweetheart, Lady Margery, is forced to marry a richer man, Brummel vows revenge on society by becoming the ultimate arbiter of fashion and wit, rising to become a close friend of the Prince of Wales. His eventual insolence and indiscretions lead to his downfall and exile to France, where he dies in poverty, only to be reunited with the spirit of his love in the afterlife.
