Plot: The film is a dramatic courtroom mystery centered on defense attorney Gerald Waring (H.B. Warner). He takes on the seemingly impossible case of a young man, David Wells, who is charged with the murder of his own father, a wealthy man named Emory Wells. The prosecution piles up damaging evidence against the accused youth, and initial witnesses point to his guilt.
