Dark Asylum (2001)
Plot: The film is a psychological horror-thriller centered on county psychiatrist Dr. Maggie Belham. She is summoned to the desolate, about-to-be-closed Crestmore Asylum to perform a psychological evaluation on a newly apprehended and extremely dangerous serial killer known as "The Trasher." However, the cunning killer manages to escape his confinement, murders the staff, and begins hunting Dr. Belham through the maze-like corridors of the darkened, abandoned facility. Her only hope for survival until the morning is a mysterious janitor named Quitz, who may himself be a former patient or a forgotten inmate of the asylum.
