Diamond Trail (1933)
Plot: The film is a mix of urban crime and Western adventure. A "wise-cracking reporter-detective" named "Speed" Morgan goes undercover, successfully posing as a gangster known as "Frisco Eddie" to infiltrate the gang of a jewel thief and criminal named "Flash" Barrett. After helping Barrett escape from the police, Morgan is accepted into the gang. The story begins in a city setting but soon moves West to Nevada as Barrett and his crew head out, gunning for a man named Bill Miller, as Morgan works to solve the jewel theft case and bring the criminals to justice.
