Dixiana 1930
Plot: A circus performer named Dixiana falls in love with a wealthy Southern aristocrat, Carl Van Horn, and leaves the circus to be with him. Carl's stepmother, however, is scandalized by Dixiana's background and forces her to leave the family plantation. Desperate, Dixiana is forced to work in a local gambling hall run by a scheming rival who has his own designs on her. As the film builds to a climax at Mardi Gras, the rival attempts to ruin Carl and his family, and Dixiana must try to save the day.
