Far Out Man 1990
Plot: An aging, perpetually stoned former 1960s hippie (played by Tommy Chong), still living life by the free-spirited rules of his youth, embarks on a bizarre and often surreal cross-country road trip in 1990. After being hypnotized by a quirky psychiatrist, he decides to find his long-lost girlfriend, Tree (played by Shelby Chong), and their estranged son, Kyle (played by Paris Chong). Along the way, he encounters a colorful array of eccentric characters, gets into absurd situations, and even unknowingly picks up his son while hitchhiking. The film is a loose, comedic journey filled with stoner humor, unexpected celebrity cameos (including Cheech Marin), and a whimsical attempt to reconcile a counterculture past with the more commercialized reality of the 90s.
