Gods of Egypt (2016)
Plot: In a mythological version of ancient Egypt where gods live among mortals, the benevolent King Osiris is murdered by his jealous brother Set during the coronation of Osiris's son, Horus. Set seizes the throne, plunges the empire into chaos, and enslaves the populace. He strips Horus of his powerful eyes and banishes him to the desert. To save his true love Zaya, who has been killed and sent to the underworld, a clever mortal thief named Bek forms an unlikely alliance with the fallen god Horus. Together, they embark on a perilous quest—encountering giant serpents, deadly traps, and celestial beings—to recover Horus's eyes, overthrow Set, and restore balance to the kingdom.
