I Am Soldier (2014) is a British action-thriller directed by Ronnie Thompson. The film follows Mickey Tomlinson (Tom Hughes), a military chef with hidden combat experience, who attempts the rigorous selection process for the UK's elite Special Air Service (SAS). Alongside fellow candidate JJ (George Russo), Mickey endures grueling physical and psychological tests, including escape and evasion exercises and intense interrogation, to prove his worthiness. After passing the selection, Mickey and JJ are assigned to a counter-terrorism mission, where tragedy strikes.
