"Kepler's Dream" 2016 follows 11-year-old Ella, a city girl who is sent to spend the summer with her reclusive grandmother, Violet Von Stern, on her New Mexico ranch while her mother undergoes chemotherapy. Ella, who has never met her grandmother, tries to understand why her family is fractured. During her stay, she searches for a missing rare book from her grandmother's library, forms new friendships, and uncovers family secrets.
