Nothing Too Good for a Cowboy 1998 is a movie about a fiercely independent young woman, Jessie McBride, living on a remote, struggling cattle ranch in rural Alberta, Canada, inherited from her late grandfather. She's determined to save it from foreclosure, despite the cynical advice of her neighbors and the mounting debts. Her plans are complicated by the unexpected arrival of Luke Riley, a charming but enigmatic drifter with a mysterious past, who offers to help her with the ranch work. As they labor together, battling the harsh elements and aggressive corporate land developers, Jessie slowly begins to trust Luke, whose quiet competence and deep understanding of the land prove invaluable.
