The Shrine 2010
Plot: Three American journalists, eager to investigate a supposed supernatural phenomenon, travel to a remote, isolated village in Poland. They are drawn by local folklore surrounding a mysterious, ancient shrine hidden deep in the foggy, secluded woods, where grisly human sacrifices are rumored to take place. Upon their arrival, the villagers react with extreme hostility, warning them to leave. Ignoring the warnings, the journalists press on, only to discover that the legends are terrifyingly real. They soon become trapped in a horrifying nightmare, hunted by a terrifying, malevolent entity that possesses its victims, and forced into a desperate fight for survival against both the supernatural forces and the fanatical villagers who protect the shrine's dark secrets.
