"There's Something in the Pilliga" 2014 tells a story of four young friends who venture into the infamous Pilliga Forest in rural New South Wales, Australia, for a weekend camping trip. Their excitement for a wilderness escape quickly turns to dread as they learn about the local legend of a terrifying creature known as the 'Pilliga Yowie'—Australia's own Bigfoot. Dismissing it as mere folklore, they soon find themselves stalked and hunted by an unseen, aggressive entity deep within the dense bushland. Isolated and increasingly terrified, they must fight for their lives against the monstrous inhabitant of the forest that doesn't want them to leave.
