Torch (2021)
Plot: Clara, who grew up in the jungles of Belize, was forced to leave for San Francisco after a traumatic childhood incident. Years later, her older boyfriend, Gabriel, convinces her to return to her homeland to seek "inner peace" and reconnect with her roots. However, as they revisit the familiar tropical environment, the darkness of the past resurfaces through hidden dangers and secrets in the jungle. Clara begins to suspect that Gabriel is hiding dark motives, forcing her to confront whether she can trust him or if she must fight to survive the dangers of the wild and his true intentions.
