"Deprivation" 2019 tells a story of a young woman named Sophie, who volunteers for a radical sleep study at a remote, isolated clinic. Desperate to overcome a severe insomnia problem, she agrees to be cut off from all external stimuli and undergoes extreme sleep deprivation experiments. What begins as a quest for a cure quickly devolves into a terrifying descent into psychological horror. As her mind begins to unravel, Sophie experiences increasingly vivid and disturbing hallucinations, blurring the lines between reality and nightmare. She soon realizes that the clinic's methods are far more sinister than she anticipated, and the real threat might not be her lack of sleep, but the waking terror that emerges from her own "deprivation."
