Li'l Abner 1940
Plot: In the small, hillbilly town of Dogpatch, Daisy Mae is determined to marry the thick-headed but handsome Li'l Abner. Her best chance is the annual Sadie Hawkins Day race, where women can catch a man and marry him. Abner, however, is misdiagnosed with a fatal illness and, thinking he has only a day to live, agrees to marry both Daisy Mae and another woman. When he survives, he must navigate the chaos of having two fiancées in a town about to be declared a test site for an atomic bomb.
