Plot: Dr. Emma Lloyd, a successful New York City relationship expert and radio talk show host, is on the verge of marrying her perfect fiancГ©, Richard. Her life of sensible advice is thrown into chaos when she discovers she is already legally married to a man she's never met: Patrick Sullivan, a charming and reckless firefighter. Patrick is the jilted ex-fiancГ© of a caller Emma advised to break off her engagement, and he orchestrated the fake marriage as a bizarre act of revenge. Emma tracks down Patrick to get an annulment, but their contrasting views on love and life, combined with a series of hilarious and complicated misunderstandings involving a powerful business couple, begin to spark an undeniable attraction.
