Plot: Dr. Emma Lloyd, a successful New York City relationship expert and radio talk show host, is on the verge of marrying her perfect fiancé, Richard. Her life of sensible advice is thrown into chaos when she discovers she is already legally married to a man she's never met: Patrick Sullivan, a charming and reckless firefighter. Patrick is the jilted ex-fiancé of a caller Emma advised to break off her engagement, and he orchestrated the fake marriage as a bizarre act of revenge. Emma tracks down Patrick to get an annulment, but their contrasting views on love and life, combined with a series of hilarious and complicated misunderstandings involving a powerful business couple, begin to spark an undeniable attraction.
