Plot: One night, the magical Yo-kai Watch is stolen from Nathan "Nate" Adams by two wicked Yo-kai, Kin and Gin, who seek to prevent humans and spirits from ever being friends. To get it back and save the timeline, Nate, along with his spirit companions Whisper and Jibanyan, travels 60 years into the past. There, he meets a younger version of his own grandfather, Nathaniel, who is in the process of inventing the very first Yo-kai Watch. Together, they must battle the evil Dame Dedtime and her army of Wicked Yo-kai to ensure the future of both the human and spirit worlds.
